Yummy Oat Bars

Crunchy & Chewy Oat Bars
Vegan, Gluten Free, Wheat Free, Rice Free, Soya Free, Refined Sugar Free.
Endometriosis, Crohns & Coeliac Safe.

8 oz Gluten & Wheat free rolled oats
4 oz unrefined sugar
2 Tsp All Spice
4 Tbls Agave Syrup / Maple Syrup
4 oz Pure Sunflower Spread 

 First line a tin with baking paper and trim the edges.

Leave to one side till later.

Melt the butter on a low-medium heat.

When that has nearly fully melted you can add your sugar.

Stir that together and add in the syrup.

It will become a thicker brown consistency.

Add your oats.

Stir the buttery sugar mixture together with the oats.

Making sure you cover all your oats.

At this stage you could add nuts, fruits, chocolate...anything you wish.

 Lay your oat mixture in your baking papered tray.

Put the tray into the oven at gas mark 4 for 30 minutes.

Until they are nice and golden.
This is slightly over done this is how i like mine crunchy and chewy but if you like yours googey and chewy id take it out of the oven sooner at a lighter colour.

Let the oats cool completely before trying to cut them up.

When they have set cut them into bars and share them out.
