Ginger, Banana & Walnut Tart
Vegan, Gluten Free, Wheat Free, Rice Free, Soya Free, Refined Sugar Free.
Endometriosis, Crohns & Coeliac Safe.
Ingredients:
Follow the recipe for Banoffee pie recipe for the pastry case and caramel.
For the filling:
2 handfuls walnuts
1 little Chunk of Ginger peeled
Topping:
1 banana

fill the dish up the sides as well to keep the filling inside.
pop it in the oven on gas mark 5 for 5-10 minutes cover with tin foil if it is browning too quickly.
Once golden brown and cooked leave to one side.
Fill the case with caramel and leave to cool.
Blend the walnuts and ginger together until they are a smooth paste.
Add the paste on top of the caramels.
Chop a banana and layer that ontop of the walnut and ginger paste.
dust with a sprinkle of carob powder and your dessert is finished.
